Gtek Vs Etek 5

I was leaning towards the Gtek, but the Etha 2 is a bargain. Or i might just stretch myself and get the Gtek 160R. Too many choices, hoping to narrow it down at CPPS this weekend

Ive heard a lot of good things about these markers, what are your opinions on these, which is better? And what makes it better? Spool vs Popit ?

I have the etek 5 , think it's great

At a low price point with newer design tech.

Basically this. I've been blown away by the Etha 2. I'd far rather have a hoseless marker, the quick change battery and the extra durability it offers. In my humble opinion, with the GTEK you're paying more for less of a marker.

I disagree. The quick remove bolt is a god send if you have a breach break on (or off) field and the OLED screen makes all programming so much easier. I haven't held a etha 2 yet but the hose/eye pipe isnt really much of an issue (except for cosmetics) IMHO.

You can strip the Etha 2 bolt easily without tools, sure it takes a few more seconds than the GTEK but it's no way a deal breaker. Likewise the OLED board, handy but the Etha 2 programming is a piece of piss for the blue moon ocasions you need to change anything.

Fair enough I havent been able to get my hands on one yet. Changing programming depends upon how much you play walk-ons and tournys I suppose.
