Yeah, a lot of intricate soldering unfortunately. We tried to do it ourselves, ended up fscking the board up so sent it off to be done. Think it cost £60-100 to be done too, so if on a budget it might be worth sticking to swap-disks.

You can get 'press on' on modchips that basically piggy back onto the chip on the PS2 motherboard, I've got one in mine and it works fine.

Although I dremmelled (well Gaz_GB did) a square hole in the metal shield above where the mod chip sits to allow it to cool if need be.

Very good game :) True to the game in real life in many ways - Even smaller details such as the ability to shout opponent positions to your team, manage the bunkers your team will run for on the break, the marker each player of your team uses etc.

Good fun when you aren't out 'balling on a Sunday ;)
