As MrPink said, try reading the home office definitions! And as I mentioned before..a turbo (assisted fire) board was inspected by the home office and was considered ok to be used under their laws.
All laws are interpreted by the police officer who enforces them.
You try and tell your local bobby that walking the trigger at 17 bps is controlled single shots (ie semi auto) and he would have your ass.
Turbo was allowed (under UKPS rules, never heard of the supposed inspection by the HO) because the gun shot less than two shots per trigger pull. The definition of fully auto was 2 or more shots per trigger pull.
Anyway turbo boards were pulled by the UKPSF because they were worried about getting our sport banned.
Companies selling gats with assisted modes (well more free shots than turbo mode) before they are allowed are being incredibly irresponsible and endangering any efforts intended to change the firearms laws in our favour.
