Little question.....can you be oscar nominated if you are dead? Sorry to go off thread, but if the film does go on ahead and he had nailed the part as the joker could he be nominated?

Yeah and without sounding even more heartless than I am - No publicity is bad publicity...
well after listening to the news he was on sleeping pills because after playing the joker he found it hard to sleep because he became so involved with the character.......the trailer for the dark knight looks amazing and tbh he does look like he was deep into that role
I am sure the movie will still be realised, mainly cos of the amount of money put into making it would be huge and people will want to get their return investment. Harsh in a way but true, Brandon Lee died while filming The Crow due to an error made with a prop that should have been avoided, the film was still released.
Then again if I had made something just before I died, I personally would like it to be released, if nowt more than a memory of 'the last thing I did'

It is one of the first films as well for some of the scenes to be shot in the new imax camera.

Evidently he took the method acting a bit seriously and was locking himsef away to try and induce a state of semi madness / mental instability. That's what led onto the insomnia. Went a bit far methinks. Shame. A knights Tail was a classic.
Real shame, always liked his films, though never seen broke back. Knights tale and Casanova were cracking as well as his earlier stuff like ten things i hate about you.
