Ive played in 4 King Of The Hill tournaments , and im now looking for a decent starter marker , nothing to flashy , nothing too expensive ! IDEAs anybody ?

If yes, get yourself an impulse, co2 or air, its a top class gun, been around for a while, always good reviews, cheap, and can be easily upgraded.
If an 'impy' is not for you, any cocker will do.

An impy is a good starter gun and is a good gun for pro's as well!

yeah impies are cool but then u r looking at quite an expensive marker once u add on the price of an air system, especially for a first marker.
i would suggest an automag, it was my first decent marker and it never let me down
it was very reliable, consistent, upgradable and CHEAP
its now up 4 sale for £150 and that is a full set up on co2

i have used craigpil's gun and it is very accurate for a first gun. and great value for 150 and all you need to do is put some c02 in it and a bag of balls and away you go.

Impy!!Even without the eye it's a steal as you can upgrade it soo much to keep up with tthe others..

hey, if you want a really reliable gun that won't break on you just get the tippman 98 custom and upgrade the **** out of it! tippmans are one of the easist kinda of guns to upgrade in my mind anyways. otherwise if you live in the U.S. go to xpaintball.com and they've got great deals. you can get a sypder imagine kit for $156 thats what i got! it's a nice gun kind of hard for upgrades but if you find them there nice! upgrades are all on the site too. and you'd want the tear drop 14" barell. well thats my oppinion on things but it's all up to you on what you get!
my teammates selling his old Spyder, very reliable gun and hes played with it in a couple of tournies, comes with everything that ya need (20oz Co2 canister, Hopper) and hes chucking in other stuff like gloves an all
so all u need is a mask and ur sorted, marker is in good nick, only used 5-6 times.

I would go for the cocker myself but the Impy is a cool gun.
