I've found the RP to be the best overall. Most other paints are OK if they're fresh and haven't been sitting in a van for a week :(

Smaller bore?

Talking about paint....

I have a Lapco autospirit barrel which is .686, so slightly smaller bore for 'normal' paint which is around .689.

Does anyone know of some smaller bore paintballs that I can buy somewhere, or has anyone had some experience of using smaller bore barrels/paint?

thanks for your advice:D

I'd use good old RPS (if it weren't so expensive).

Use Nelson pearl for training which is nice paint, and Nelson ANarchy for tourneys which is spot on, nice small bore, thick fill, brittle shell :) and not overly expensive either...
