good old fashioned egg door problem

any one got any simple fixes, the 2 clips inside the shell that the door clips on to has snapped, well one of them has, any ideas ppl

Cut down the prongs on the inside that put too much pressure on the batterie door then glue a patch of velcro on the outside of the door and another on the hopper body and use a strip of velcro to hold the door inplace.

if you post up 'battery mod for egg wanted' one of the guys makes and sells them for around £3

when its fitted ..with no pressure on the door... i found electrical tape holds the door closed the best

hey bod... the strip of velcro works too.... used some on a speed feed that kept coming of a reloader... put the smallest strip ever.. on the speed feed and another piece on the edge of the reloader works a treat AND easy to take off and on

i'm not getting at you but there are tribes in remote parts of africa that know about the battery door issue, so if they know about it and can fix them with twigs and rhino snot then i can't see why it's taken you soooooo long to post the same old question

The springs on the original clips are simply too heavy and break the doors, with the cable/door mod done they last forever.

haha, its not mine, its my gf's, and its the little rails on the shell not the door

just going to get new shells, and a neoprene cover should solve it,

i got a pulse my self, only problem i had was a snapped feed neck, got a replacment shel 3 days later for free
