sorry he' s right they were. A face plate and then the goggles over the top. Uvex was the common name used if I recall. Some people also used to wear standard safety glasses I even saw one guy wearing squash glasses!

Yeah a green faceplate that looked like a bad hockey type thing with uvex over the top.
Also played many moons ago with metalwork workshop safety sunglass thingies.
Now Im showing my age!!!

Failing that Just Paintball are doing 'custom build' goggles but they're not 'extreme' custom jobs.

Oh and this is what you get is you search the web for 'unusual paintball mask'. I wouldnt buy it.

those green face plates were HORRIBLE it actually hurt less if you didnt wear it and just took the shot in the face!
