Have to agree with Tricky, I think hobbycraft / The Range would do the trick.

Failing that you may manage to find something similar at a DIY store but i do think you would be trying your luck.

If it is just the ear pieces you are after then they can be bought from most stockists. Although I'm assuming you want foam for a custom job etc...

Absolutely, I understand completely. Brilliant design btw, I had spotted it in another post. Very similar to what I want to do but I currently have no access to the CAD machinery i would need.

I would definitely say Hobbycraft or The Range though, both will have what you want :) If you are worried about wear/tear on foam then it can always be coated in a strong fabric etc.

No idea what CAD machinery is, these are made by hand with an angle grinder and bench pillar drill.

Computer Aided Design. I prefer to work on computers and use machinery to perform the tasks for me. In this instance laser cutters.

For wood it's a hands on approach. anything else and the PC comes out :D

camping roll mat, cheap as chips! the stuff in hobbytheft is "funky foam" 3mm thick, way to weak and thin for what you want ;)
