I used to use a 2009 Proto SLG UL and it was awful, so I was offered a second hand smart parts vibe by a friend. Technically it should have been a straight downgrade from a SLG UL to a vibe but that wasn't the case at all! The vibe shot great, never breaks paint and is very reliable, I still use it today :) Honestly can't say enough good things about them for a beginner / recreational player

The extcy will pleasenty surprise, just got back into paintball after a 15 year break when I used to play with an automag ( which at the time was one of THE markers to own)the advancement in paintball tech is incredible, I dont think my extcy has broke even 1 ball yet and ive no issue in walking onto a millenium tourney field practicing against teams that are taking first place in tourneys. I dont feel there's really any advant atage in spending £1000+ on a marker when most fields cap your ROF at 10.5 bps ramping, ive not felt outgunnedas yet. Its the player that makes the marker not the other way around fella :)
