Evolutionary psychology maintains that we're still largely driven by our genes not our free-will unfortunately

The three basic drives are still there and are hard to overcome. Our DNA screams at us to:

(1) Feed,
(2) Fight
(3) F**k

Or if you prefer another phrase we are driven to Breed, Feed and Bleed
