Think Fish hit the nail on the head with what he just wrote. I feel sorry for the staff, really do. Imagine having what they've just had, no contact from the boss then receiving a letter that its all over!!
The other companies must be celebrating though, even if gizzys reputation was bad they did have a load of customers, now Slothabll, Planet and all the others are going to tempting them over....

Bit OTT but couldn't someone/or a load of people buy gizmos and make it a great company? Then again its reputation may lose it some buisness.
nope... since they would have to pay its debts to start off with... and the amount of companies that are after him; i wouldn't wnat to be faced with those bills!

the receivers will take charge and make the decisions this could be anything from selling all the stock in a auction to selling as a going concern to someone
and the people after the money will get very little to nothing back
my old company i worked for did this and debts of 5 million where writen of and we still run to this day with different people owning it
will the customers who are owed get paid first i wounder or the suppliers to the company? Even if i just got my E-grip of them i would be happy
from my extremely limited knowledge of how this owrk I assume it's the people/compnaies who are owed the most first and then it works down the line from there.
