Depends on what you mean by "really good", doesn't it. If you mean playing at international Pro level in the UK, I think only Bridget from Outkast in recent years. But Wendy Jones from the new Team Phoenix (not to be mixed up with Phoenix 5) should be playing domestic level pro this year, then looking at girls who hold their own at a decent level you have players like Bird (CP Red) and Rachel (Redz Novice). There are loads I've probably missed playing at Am level in the UK right now (sorry, girls, not awake enough yet to remember you all this morning), then we have lots of up and coming players currently at novice level with the ability to move up the ranks, e.g. the SAD FA bunch, Gillie from 6E.....
Trouble is, though it's much better today than it was 10-12 years ago when I used to play Am, the culture is still somewhat against the female player. I remember one female baller friend who's boyfriend, also a player, would get upset when she came back from a day's play with welts; alright for him to have them, but not her! Also though in the last year or so things have changed, female players would usually only get into a team because of a boyfriend/husband playing for that team, and un-partnered girl players would find it exceptionally hard to get a game to prove they were up to it
