Ah, I had my appendix taken out when I was 10. Sucks the first few days, but the rest of the 2 weeks off might as well be vacation days.

I had mine removed back in 83'... I went in the hospitol just before the Super Bowl and spent that Friday, Saturday and SuperBowl Sunday in the hospitol. Don't remember having 2 weeks off from school. But I do remember not being able to Play American Football!
