Because some teams have the sponsorship and money to do it - others don't...although yea, same rule for everyone so technically "fair" but i don't really think it should be done.

Also - what the **** is up with Joy at the mo?! Not making it through to the sunday-club in Tampa and now losing to TonTons
So basically you think it is unfair that some teams have more money than others? Because basically that's what you're saying boils down to.

Why should the big teams with the money be able to buy their way to success?

That is the reason the NHL went into lock down a couple of seasons ago - and now teams have a restricted amount they can spend on players - so yea, money should not play a part in the team's success...if they are worth sponsoring and backing then they should be able to get results themselves.
Huh?

So basically you have a problem with any sport that hasn't got a salary cap?
Even then, the teams with the most money still get the best shots. Let me explain to you how it works (it's slightly more complicated than this, but you'll get the geste).

Let's say all teams are allowed to spend the same maximum amount on "salaries" (perhaps not the right term at this point in paintball). The best players would still go to the teams with the most dosh, as they can offer things that fall outside of the salary cap, such as a signing bonus or free naked ladies. :D

Personally I don't see an unfairness. The rules for attracting players are the same across the board, and yes, some teams have more backing, so they are able to attract better players. But at the same time this backing forces them to go to the extremes of the rules, because the exact same backing demands results. Plus in the end, any team has an equal shot at getting corporate support. The fact that many teams don't get that much support says more about those teams, rather than the ones that don't. You may as well not agree with the fact that some teams have better training facilities than others...

I understand where you're coming from, but you're thinking Utopian thoughts to be honest. I hope you understand where I'm coming from as well.

Oh, and back on topic, well done all sunday clubbers.
