i want police to be able to do there job properly without being held back with bull crap rules.

Go on then, what rules are you referring to?

if raiding a muslim premises

• Community leaders must be consulted before raids into Muslim houses.
• Officers must not search occupied bedrooms and bathrooms before dawn.
• Use of police dogs will be considered serious desecration of the premises.
• Cameras and camcorders should not be used in case capturing women in inappropriate dress.
• If people are praying at home officers should stand aside and not disrupt the prayer. They should be allowed the opportunity to finish.
• Officers should take their shoes off before raiding a Muslim house.
• The reasons for pre-dawn raids on Muslim houses needs to be clear and transparent.
• Officers must not touch holy books or religious artefacts without permission.
• Muslim prisoners should be allowed to take additional clothing to the station.

my source is actualy a social worker who works along side poilce in the north east of scotland
I gather they must have forwarded you an email with this information in it because that's how it is distributed. and it's not strictly true, however after a bit more research it shows that they have taken some existing GUIDELINES, not rules and twisted them to mean something different:

Beds. Police have an FOI document here that explains the difference, it's about 2/3 of the way down dated March 10:

http://www.bedfordshire.police.uk/access_info/foi/disclosure_log/2010/mar10.html

I agree some of them are a little over the top but it's a very different thing to the email you've been sent.

We have raids on the news down here all the time and the police certainly don't go in with no boots on. It'd be against H&S for a start and that beats any other concerns as we all know. :D

the list i gave is from an e-mail that i discused with a social worker. she assured me alot fo these were correct or very near it.

for example they do have to allow the finish of any prayers as there seen as non hostile shile praying. they are allowed religous clothing and artifacts. and they are not allowed to film if there is women present.

schools would be bang on of we could give kids a good kick in the teeth.

did you read the links i gave you? the document I linked to says nothing about allowing people to finish praying. and it's an official police document.

anyway, to reply to your earlier question regarding another party for you to vote for. It would seem that UKIP tick most of those boxes and at least they are not lead by Nazi's and Holocaust deniers. Consider UKIP, anythings better than BNP.

I think we've spent enough time discussing the BNP now surely? edit: ha ha obviously not. see below : )

I don't know much about schooling in this country as I went to secondary scool in the Rep. of Ireland so I haven't really got anything to offer there sorry. Although to an "outsider" it doesn't look very fair, the gap between state and public schools is huge.

DJ, I know that you and I have personally been through this discussion in another thread, and as much as I'd hate to get into it again I can't stand watching you spout the BNP's rubbish in defence of a blatantly malicious and racist group.

Without adressing any of the points brought up in this thread (I don't really have alot of energy for debating at the moment), I will ask you one very simple question:

Does it really not seem odd to you that the BNP seem overly-occupied with the goings-on and negativities - correct or incorrect as they may be - of different race groups and cultures without actually addressing any of the problems created by our own western culture and the native (I hate using that word, but it's the only simple way to communicate what I mean) population?

Let me use an example to highlight what I mean.

An article taken from the BNP homepage: http://bnp.org.uk/groups/the-burka-and-the-nhs

For those of you who are too lazy to read, the article outlines how the Muslim practice of covering wome head-to-toe creates incidences of Vitamin D defficiency, and therefore an unecessary cost for treatment on the NHS.

And now more figures and articles for your viewing pleasure
:)

http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/top-stories/2010/01/02/2-7bn-booze-crisis-115875-21936232/

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/8086142.stm

http://www.healthcarerepublic.com/news/934442/Cost-obesity-NHS-England-rise-62-billion/

The point I'm trying to make is that there is absolutely no reason for the BNP to focus on Muslim practices in relation to the NHS without first focusing on much more costly issues such as binge drinking, smoking and obesity - all of which cost much more to the NHS in comparison, and all of which are a result of our very own culture. The only possible reason that the BNP focus on an article such as that is because they are an inherintly racist group who have set out to degrade and reject other cultures from the off-set, without tackling any important issues that are in dire need of attention.

Good for the UK?

Most certainly NOT.
