MS Paint can be found by clicking start,all programs then accessories and it should be listed there

Being a laptop you'll probably need to press either up shift and print screen or press the function key then print screen.
As previously mentioned it's best to google search the processes then decide if you want to stop them or not. Keep a note of the ones you want rid of then when you have finished go to start, run and type msconfig. Once this opens click the start up tab and search for the processes you've stopped, uncheck their boxes then restart. Once restarted run your anti virus and it should get rid of it.

download a program called ccleaner, you can find it on www.download.com, this has a tool on it where you can choose what you want to run on startup and what you dont want, just simply check the boxes on what you need, generally most things under "user" can be stopped from starting up, this program also cleans out all the trash and adware that you pick up while using the net, makes your com run a lot smoother ^^
