Im sure, if no-one else is available, and you ask the paint vendor nicely (they stage right near where players are right?) you can leave bags near/in their truck. No-one would mind watching some bags for a game or so.

Ainsley, would you like this stickied for a few days mate?

If that's ok pal I'm sure it would be much appreciated, thank you.

I agree that people need to be careful with their kit and can't take it for granted that it will just be ok......it just sucks when it does happen. There's nothing more that these events can really do to manage security, it's just life's scumbags that ruin things for the rest of us.

I cant see it being a problem for 5-7 days or whatever, just enough time to catch a few views just in case someone mistakenly walked away with it.

I had a marker stolen in Belgium one year. Makes you feel sh*t that it has to be a fellow player or one of the MS staff :(

Our team had a coat nicked they took his car keys out and wallet took the money and chucked them on the floor so thank god we got the car keys back,

They kept the coat and it had an iphone 3gs in it.

Also i heard that some one from nexus had a nt camo took or misplaced not 100% sure though.
.

I had that happen in Germany one year at Nuremberg Ring coat went missing in Centre Parcs 20 minutes away but the keys turned up on the floor in the players area - strange eh?

Then in Paris the same year I was reunited with the coat after a friend spotted a germany player wearing it and he re-possessed it. Sadly our sport is populated by a smal minority of individuals like this.

Security at this last event was better than most with people only being allowed to the rear of the pit areas with a the players or pit crew band. There should be a bit more info of recoding who enters the pits etc, but how to implement is the biggest question. Lets face it you might not notice that your shiny spare gat has been taken until after your match and by that time (a) they are long gone and (b) there have been over 100 people in and out of the pits
