Hey all,

Friend of mine has had a gearbag stolen including 3 markers from Paris at the weekend. Please keep an eye out if possible, they're good friends of Steph and I and a credit to the community.

Below is what his better half Oceane messaged me about the theft:

Hi paintball community,

We need your help because our paintball equipment has been stolen at the Millénium Paris on Sunday between 4 pm & 6pm, the entire bag was in the pitcrew area of D3 field…

The bag: black with wheels written “NEWFEEL” ...on the upper side + Side Effect sticker. The size is approximately 80*50*30cm.

Markers inside:
- 1 Dye DM11 Red/Graphite Polish (barrel back is a bit striped by sand). Used really few times, almost brand new). Maybe the only one existing in France.
- 1 Luxe 1.0 Dust Black/Red full custom NewDesignz (Bolt with spring, + FiringCan + Stinger Adjustable Bolt Guide). He is striped on the back on the moving piece to disassemble the bolt. Maybe 2 or 3 of this color in France.
- 1 Dye DM9 Black Dust with a black on/off DM7. Side Effect sticker on the body. The Dye logo is really stripped on the back.
The 2 DM are in their guncases.
Their series numbers are coming, we are trying to reach them.

Others:
- 1 Side Effect Jersey GFY Paris , Guillaume de berry 25
- 1 kevlar tank 1.1L with Eclipse bottle cover edition 09
- Angel Gauntlet gloves
- 1 pair of elbow pads eclipse white, used – edition 08
- 1 Ultra light barrel black

These are the main things, please share the information on facebook, forums etc, as there were also foreign teams at the millennium.
If you have any info please contact: contact@sideeffect.fr or +336 153 256 26 or +336 090 107 45

Alternatively, contact me and I'll get in touch with them :)

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR HELP.

These are the guys who designed your jerseys, right?

Sorry to hear about that.

Is the pit crew area only accessible to those with MS ID cards?

Yes buddy, Guillaume designed our new jerseys/markers. We met them when Oceane (his Girlfriend) worked with Angel last summer and we became friends from there. Really good people......hopefully I'll be able to provide serial numbers shortly.

Our team had a coat nicked they took his car keys out and wallet took the money and chucked them on the floor so thank god we got the car keys back,

They kept the coat and it had an iphone 3gs in it.

Also i heard that some one from nexus had a nt camo took or misplaced not 100% sure though.

Wasn't Breakwell on a young offenders trip to Paris over the weekend ?

On a more serious note pictures of the nicked guns would be good.

Ainsley mate, thinking about it do not post pics of the missing markers just keep them in photobucket or something just incase they do appear on here. Then the seller/thieves will hopefully not be frightened off.

if we then see the guns them we can involve the correct people

I'm a country member!
While it is bad to hear about missing/stolen gear the security arrangements at the event were as good as you could expect.

Yes, there was a staff member checking passes/wristbands on the pit lane gate, but how are they ever supposed to know what kitbag belongs to which person?

I don't recall seeing anybody who shouldn't have been in there being there.

There are always enough people complaining that they weren't allowed in the pits having gone to the paint truck etc. for another team, there is a limit in the rule book as to how many rostered team members a team can have in their pit, including players and pit crew and I witnessed complaints to the reffing crew about this being enforced.

Most cases of kit being stolen is due to players leaving it unattended, if you want to keep it keep it on you, lock it away or leave it with someone you can trust! I was was again amazed to see kitbags just dumped by the fence at the end of the trade village between the bar and the toilets opposite the paint trucks.

However, it still sucks and I hope the missing items find their way home.
