g7 ramping millenium mode

Mode 3 is PSP and PA legal as they both allow the 15bps with ramping at a rate of 3 shots per pull after the first 3 shots have been fired.

If you are playing in the Millennium or the CFOA then according to the rules no ramping is allowed, so you need to simply put the gun in mode 1 (semi auto) and limit the MROF to 15bps.

with the G7 the MROF applies to when the eyes are on. when you turn the eyes off the MROF drops to 15BPS.

I have asked for some clarification on this from the PA. Will post back here when I get an answer.

Tonyf, mode3 on the G7 is designed for the PSP (Xball 2005) which is what has me confused as the PA and PSP are supposed to be using the same rule (unlike the Millennium).

Not on the G7 Paul, Zebra3 is quite correct, you can set the eyes on cap to whatever you want it to be, eyes off defaults to 15 though.

After the first 3 you will get 4 per trigger pull, as long as you maintain 4/sec.
Also you will get a further 3 shots after the last trigger pull, mistaken (in our players gun) for bounce!

That is PA legal then. (apart from the 4bps needed to sustain ramp mode instead of 5 but how are they gonna check that!!!)

If your gun ramps at 5bps and the MROF is 15 then you will get a maximum of 3 shots between trigger pulls.

And a maximum of 3 shots after the last trigger pull.

5 goes into 15 3 times.


Those are maximum values, not what you would normally get in game...

All i would say is check it out before you go steaming in and find yourself trying to explain to the ultimate that it is legal.
