You could always run a lil pball event mario, find a place where you would get a reduced green fee ( i have one in mind ) and then you take the additional entrance fee, same with paint.

No chance of approaching local firms for sponsorship?

Don't know what the exibit is about but may be feasible for companys in the area it involves sponsoring them?

Im looking into this anyway. The reason i'd rather not is because the uni is inclined to give us more money if we dont get outside sponsorship. However when i know the figure that the uni plan to give us then i'll be approaching companies or not.

Mikey - i doubt i could raise a decent amount through a paintball day.

Talk to your local supermarket and ask if you can pack shopping. There was a football team in ours yesterday wearing their kit and taking donations from the people who's bags they packed. Little kids struggling with big buckets full of cash. cool

set up a stall, suitably meshed out with several willing live targets (Poor sods). £1 for 5 paintballs, and let the customers rip.

Sausage sizzle outside your local ASDA on the busyest day of the week.

Make sure you have a big sign explaining the reason for the fund raiser, so people know what there supporting.
Go to local butcher or food wholesaler for sausages, plead case for cheap sausies.
Onions are also a must.
Sausie and onion with T-sauce on white toast bread, dam that shiz is good.
