Have done Nige :D

Ok, all the reloader ones are gone, just 7 egg wires left.

With the egg wires I'll send you a couple of pieces of heat-shrink, and the wires are pre-soldered so you won't even need solder -just heat.
-Put a piece of heat-shrink on each wire, hold the wires together you want to solder, and put them on the hot iron. The solder will melt together, lift them off & blow on them to cool the solder, which will seal the wires together.
Pull the heatshrink over each solder joint, and shrink (not burn :D) with the heat from a lighter or cooks torch.

I'm not going below £2, because the work you have to do is minimal really :D

I've had a few people asking me how to make these, so here we are:

I have no problems telling people at all :D, so no more offers of begging & grovelling etc, eek! :D

For the reloader one:
I get them from Maplins
http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=44392&criteria=9V PP3&doy=2m10

39p each, you will need 3 (get 4 to be safe)
You'll need to buy some heat shrink also, just wider than the wires on the connector
http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=301&criteria=heat shrink&doy=2m10

a soldering iron, and some solder.

Get the 3 wires, shorten them all a little, and cut some of the plastic off the ends, exposing the wires.

Solder them together like this
http://mywebpages.comcast.net/c77bronco/9vp.jpg

It's easier, if you get 2 of the connectors, and wire both of the black wires together, and then both of the reds. Put a piece of heat shrink on both wires of the last connector, and solder them together as above. Move the heat shrink over the solder join and heat the heatshrink with a lighter.

I'll probably post that up on the thread actually :D

PS £2.50 probably sounds a bit steep when the wires are only costing 39p, but I had to buy the heatshrink, the solder, and spend aaaages making them :), and paypal fees, and finally postage :).

If you have any problems ask & I'll sort it out.

Thanks
Rosie
