Simplest breakdown:

Front players need a huge pair of bollox, the ability to run like the wind, and not gettin upset if they get shot to buggery.

Middleplayers need the ability too multitask, to play front back, communicate and coordinate, they need not to get upset if they get shot to buggery

Backplayers are the eyes and ears, and not feel guilty about shooting the entire teams paint in one go, back players can get upset if they get shot out, 'cos without 'em your teams prolly fu.. ahem lost.:D

Speed, agility, ability to keep tight, ability to snapshoot and agression tied in with patience.
You need to be able to move fast to get to the front bunkers, once you're there you need to be able to keep in tight but move around in your bunker, you must be able to snap shoot as you can't be out for more than a second or so and you need to be able to go for it at the right moment, but wait for that moment. You also need to be able to listen to your back player, who is your eyes & should tell you what's going on & sometimes when to move.
Depending on what level, style of player tou are & type of tourney you're playing, 3-5 pots should be all you'll need to carry.

try supermaning also known a klinsman for anyone who plays football. you should have the momentum to slide about 1 to 2 metres into youre bunker as this lessens the chance of you getting shoot whilst moving. just watch the pros thats what they do.

dont worry about the amount of pots you carry i generally carry 2 even though i dont often shoot more than a hopper full. i play with a guy who carries one pot and he can play back middle or front on just one pot.

its not all about laying the paint

I dont think any good back player could run on one pot!

Front players: Big set of balls, and aggression man you see a move or an oppurtunity you need to take you do it without thinking:

Middle players: all round awareness, and be able to pull the crazy ass sh8t to win the game

Back players: keep everbody in the game, and to mop up after everybody

my two cents
