here's summit rather related to bordem,
i still have some winter paintballs left over for training sake. not long ago i filled up three 150 pots to try summit;
for 30 mins each pot was set in different temperatures;
1 went in the deep freezer
1 went in the fridge
1 stayed at room temperature

results after 30 mins = a 6ft drop test on concrete, 10 balls from each pot;
freezer - 8 of 10 burst
fride - 6 of 10 burst
room temperature - 3 of 10 burst

all fired through an 08 ego with no bursts in gun, only thing i didnt test was if they felt like marbles on impact! but i didnt have anyone to shoot, i love my dogs and i wasnt going to turn the gun on myself - cos thats self harm . . .

the whole point of the excercise was to pass time on a sunday with no tourney to go to 8- (

on the other hand it hints that freezing paintballs for a short duration of time 'could' work however may not work on summer paint in engand, maybe. . . hhmmm

no animals were harmed in the making of this short story
