free spyware remover?!

As the guy above said, spybot search and destroy is the best spyware remover.


Using that and a couple of other tools I managed to remove Aurora (nail.exe) which is one of those really nasty legal spyware and adware programs.

spy axe is quite nasty as well but not as bad aurora that messed up my sisters laptop, cause she downloaded it thinking it would fix the laptop but uh oh but its sorted now.

on a similar note what anti virus software is worth a look these days? i seem to have to turn mine off to get most stuff to work!

AVG is pretty good, picks stuff up when you open a file you downloaded. just didnt seem to get rid of spyware, thats all

Go to download.com and search on "Hijack this" and download the file......It will remove all types of spyware...
