And trim it to match the holes so it is a decent fit, that shouldnt damage the SS then.

its not the fact im not strong enough to twist it off, its the fact that the sledge/3 way and ram get in the way so i cnt get my hand all the way around the freak back, i have about 1.5cm to get my whole hand round

think i'll be getting a baby boa when my barrel finds its way back from germany. philip, a baby boa is a strap wrench. it's a strip of rubber connected to a plastic handle. you wrap the rubber round what you want to tighten/loosen and then through a slot in the plastic handle. it works like a spanner but you don't need a bolt head to use it on. heres a pic

use a allen key put through hole and use as a lever thats what someone tried to do to mine, but i have a magic touch and get it off easy, im willing to offer my services for a small price like i get to keep back or preferably the cocker

i used a screw driver but it dented and scratched it to hell
