Any of you guys interested in sup air? As been chatting to the sports park at uea and thinking of starting one, need some feedback to make sure people are interested in it. Would just be for training so in my mind would not be taking business from mike as he has been good to the club.

i was working and there were **** loads of problems, a few guys turned up with paint that was just popping in there guns and a good few turned up at the very last minute without all the gear so were asking us for odd bits. got no problem with people using site stuff its just if they turn up late it will take even longer, though i would have thought you guys would have set up a rule of stag runs for those who mince about.

I don't recall the first game being quite that late, but since I was playing and not marshalling for once, I didn't really care and so wasn't watching the clock. I'll probably be marshalling this one, and if so we will be back to the quicker tempo, so plan for 18+ games when thinking about how much paint you need.

As for the paint testing, I'll have to check what the marshals that day wanted to implement, but as I recall it was repeatedly dropping a test ball onto concrete from 6 foot, with the requirement that it has to break within 7 or less drops. If the ball fails the test, you either have the option of switching to paint bought from the site, or chronoing down to 250fps.

Personally, I think the idea is unworkable, or at the very least is going to cause confusion, arguments and delays, and we should instead just use a blanket 280fps limit, no matter what you're shooting. Except for reball. And pebbles. But not maltesers.

We'll also be stamping down on ramping and bouncing triggers again, and to stop complaints from one player who has a marker with a very bouncy trigger that he keeps being singled out, we will be checking every electro at the beginning of the day, plus any that raise our suspicions during play.

*sigh* I remember when all you had to worry about was wipers and playing on. It's meant to be a fun day FFS, but some people still want to cheat! :-(

InfernoMark-> Is this the nipple cover you were after? I can't find any metal ones on there. I'm know putting the order in, so if you could let me know in the next hour or so, that would be helpful. If not i'll order it and if you don't want it i'll have it. http://www.planeteclipse.com/site/prodView.asp?prodID=1772

Sinner -> Don't mean to sound stupid, i understand ramping, but what exactly is trigger bounce? And how do you test for it?

I might be interested in giving it a go.

Too right, it's getting rediculus. Maybe we need a cut off point for the first game, say 10:30 maybe, and if you aren't ready to go out you miss the first game. It might give afew people a kick up the arse!:D
