I read about the NPPL in magazines before I got to play in the NPPL. Granted that was before the www. I did it because I liked the idea that paintball was bigger than my local tournament scene. It is cool that there are people in this game that are really that good. The NPPL attracts the best and it is fun to keep up with who is the best.

I do play in it now and I guess I still read these boards because I don't talk to other players in the league between events too much.
