Very true. Maybe untill you have a set amount of feedback face to face/on behalf transactions are encouraged and postage sales are not mod "covered"?
It is not only about postage. I got a marker from here, a Geo3, that I paid in full the day before I meet to collect it. If the seller was not legitimate, he can just do not attend the meeting. And if I was not legitimate, I can dispute the PayPal transaction 5 minutes after getting the marker, on the 1st petrol station on my way home.
For me it is still a problem of attitude and being interested on the forum only as a market place.

Why would you pay by PayPal before you pick the item up? Surely it would be cash on collection? Anyway nitro you're right but it seems to be only recently people are taking the piss

This will soon be raised to 50 posts AND a time delay I think. I'm sick of clicking the "new posts" link and seeing the same brand new name filling up the right hand side. I don't even bother checking the content now, when I see that it's "delete all" :D

Dusty can we incorporate a vouch system to bypass the 20 count? For example if a friend of mine / team mate etc wanted to join and buy or sell could I vouch for their account and take responsibility for any issues?

Not thy anyone has asked me to do this, its just a thought as I know a few people I'd trust implicitly and don't have accounts.

I'm a new member and I have found is easy to reach the 20 post mark by just speaking to other members and the whole reason I wanted to join the forum was the meet and talk to other ballers. If you desprit to sell your gear stick it on eBay, Gumtree etc. You will probably find if the post count was removed from the site it would be filled with **** from every tom, dick and Harry.

Seeing people's posting habits can often give us a few ways to track them down if something does go tits up, ie where they play, who for, what area they live in, people they know etc.

A post history can give a valuable insight into someones personality and credibility too :)

The rules are there for a reason. If the seller is genuine, then why would they have a problem with waitng?I can understand it is fustrating, but as mentioned,if folk are desperate to sell, why not use ebay, facebook,or other forums that dont have the 20 post rule?People should be thankful that the Mods are taking time out of their day to ensure a safer environment for all of us,and with the recent increase in fraudulant activity, would you rather run that risk,of being drawn into along winded battle to get your money/goods back.At the end of the day,be thankful that the BST section isnt just available for Platinum members only.

Keep up the good work guys.

I think when I first joined I got my first 20 posts in the first two days talking to other 'Ballers - Some people on here offer amazing advice, twenty posts talking to others about a mutual interest isn't hard now is it?
Or Go Plat - (Well worth it!)
