I remember one year at Amsterdam they were stopping teams at the site entrance, asking to search bags for food and water as you were "only allowed to buy on site"

There were a lot of arguments at the site entrance! Water was like £3 for a hand size bottle, 1 slice of pizza was £4!

2004. The security was made up of massive Hell's Angels. As for food at tourneys, I never want to eat when I'm playing anyway. Dunno why, just never felt like it.

I find eating big heavy meaty foods make me sluggish whilst playing on the day.

Perhaps a mobile sandwich bar in a subway esq fashion would be a solution?

I'm the same,very rarely eat at any events whether it's a tourny or walk-on.....i'd rather have clean flushing toilets than a burger van....
