flying with equipment

ok ive donw a search on this and its all still a bit hazzy.

the teams flying to a game with brittish airways, can someone tell me any specifics on what we have to do about our equipment, ppl are saying u have to take the regs off, otheres are syaing no, so if u have flown before then please help

say nothing, have it so your bottles are open. By this i mean have your asa open so that the pressure can stay equal. Throw a magazine in with it and thats about it.

Sometimes the best thing to say is nothing , with out spinning out some check in girl ,

stick in bag and say nowt ,you will be surprised what u can get away with :)

no they wont burst, thats why u have the asa open so the pressure equalises like mario says. If u want to be thuro then take the reg of the bottle. I say this cos on the way back from HB last year i nearly had my bottle confiscated. The scanners cant see through the bottle so they like to be able to shine a torch inside to check there is nothing in there but i think that was a one off, never heard of it happening b4.

just for info aprarently (acording to mate checkout lass) with ryanar at stansted unless they are booked in they are very reluctant to take them and if they do will sting you on excess bagage.

i think what he means is the pressure is not going to be more than 4500 psi in the hold on the plane. and air companys usually need to see in the bottle because as said the scanners cant see throught the bottle so you could be smugling weapons(somehow) drugs explosives or whatever on so they want to see inside it
