Loads & loads of threads about this, but in short DOT is the US test standard & HSE the UK standard. Illegal for a UK resident to fill or use a DOT bottle in the UK, so NEVER buy a bottle from the US for use in the UK. If you try to get any commercial filling people to fill a DOT bottle in the UK (wherever you usually live), they will turn you down.

ok here is what i am going to do. since my tanks are dot tanks i will just leave them in the states and buy some new ones over there. i am going to leave barrels off of my markers and throw them in a suitcase with a magazine and all my other gear.(pac, pods, shoes, jerseys, hoppers,barrels etc) i will use the terms markers. any other suggestions?

Bottles

David, I would think about trying to get one of the dual test bottles before you come here, I think the Angel Air are duel test (please correct me someone if I am wrong !) and some other bottle manufacturers do dual test ones too.

The reason fo this is that bottle over here are damn expensive, you are looking at around £170-190 for a 1.1 bottle which in US $ works out at about $280 ish

PS did you get my reply to your e mail, I sent you one but my PC went funny on me so I dont know whether it got sent or not?
