Whats all this auctioning lark about??? - from what i've seen of people "auctioning" items on forums, ive seen people extending the deadline date to get more bids (not great if you were the highedt bidder at the time") and 1 auction was running on 3 forum boards simultaneously, and he didnt honour any of them!!

Again, just sell it at a price - Why ask people to "bid" when someone will only pay what its worth unless they are really stupid...

I thought I'd give my oppinion on this as I have only today put an Auction up on Classifieds. I ran an auction this spring (The first on p8 I believe), and it completed on time with everyone happy and everything selling for a fair price due to the minium sale prices I put up with every item or lot. I am really supprised to hear that there have been people not honouring their deals on p8, considering the UK scene is so intertwined..

I suppose the easiest way to get a price out of someone would be to PM them and ask him what he is prepare to sell it at, then barter some more
