Hi, does anyone know when first strike carbon bottles with iso certification started being lifetime bottles? There is a 2016 bottle I was looking at but wasn't sure if it was a lifetime one. Thanks

no idea but the iso 11119-2 certification was out a fair few years before 2016, there are other bottle makes that don't have a death date ( technically all iso 11119-2 certified bottles have unlimited life span but makers are still putting 15 years on them.) but they don't advertise the fact. presumably it's a second hand bottle you're looking at, if it doesn't have a death date on the label it doesn't have a death date. like this guerilla air, it only has a born date of 2013/05.

This bottle is also iso 11119-2 certified but they've put a death date on it, presumably so they can keep on selling new bottles in the future instead of every one have infinite life bottles.

Depending on what you’re after, call a couple of the UK retailers
Certain parts are common, burst disks etc (as long as it’s the right one) and other parts aren’t (such as regulator rebuild kits)
