filling air bottles

ive been told you can fill your air bottle up from the air pump at a pertrol station and that it works. is this actually true??

dont tires fill to about 80 psi though?

i woulnt of thought you would get any decent pressure as there designed for car tyres and they typically run at around 50psi so you may be able to get like 200psi out of one

but i no that the hose fits as i used my dads car tyre compresser once to fill my tank slighty

NO, the petrol station pumps only push out a very small amount of pressure, no where near enough to fill a bottle.

as you will never fill a tank from a petrol station pump

Argos do a foot pump you could use, and I am sure Tom allen could rig you up a connecter
