Fill nipple

Tom what size and type of thread is the Angel Air fill nipple as i was looking at the picture of one on the WDP site and that looks
a better setup then the nitro duck one, so i was thinking buying one and using that but the only thing that was puzzling me was there's no hex on the nipple to tighten it

regards, gaz

The thread is 1/8 bsp (parallel).

There is a 4mm hex slot inside the fill nipple, so you tighten it with a 4mm allen key.

Just wondering; have you had problems with the fill nipple on the nitro duck reg. I know mine keeps leaking out of the fill nipple, and even after replacement it managed to do it again. Is this a shared problem ?
exactly the same problem i'm having, since the origonal went i've been using black ones as pheonix could'nt get any replacments from the US, but these go pretty quickly and i'm on my last 2-3 .. i dont know if the problem is with the nipple design or just inferior rings .. (phnaar phnaar) ...

maybe that top bloke tom could send me a couple for you aswell, i'll pay up front and can then pass them on to you at the p.a next month ? ..

our team run nitroduck xtreme reg's and we've all had this problem they keep eating o rings! After phoenix not having any replacements we changed to cp fill nipple's and have had no problem since. Pheonix say it was a batch but seeing as our's were bought at different time's i think it's a design flaw! The manufacturer should change the design as these reg's are brilliant just crap fill nipple's :(

I had the same problem with my X when I got it last year. Yankee Andy just replaced it with a different fill nipple and have had zero problems since :)

Like previously said I think they just sell them with crap nipples on them :(
