Locktite 242 is great stuff! nothing a tiny bit of extra effort wont remove. so dont worry m8. its good for many thingsa as well.
however, it doesnt always make a perfect seal on the first attempt.
took me 2 goes.

The fill nipple seals go all the time on nitroducks. Swapping the seal will only mean you are gonna get a leak again sometime in the future.

Get a new, better designed fill nipple such as the CP one, or at the very least, use a better oring seal than the one in the nitroduck regs.

right thanks ill order a superior product and go for the quick fix meanwhile. come to think of it i remember reading somewhere the fill nipples arent that hot on the ND regs...live you learn

Or it could just have a bit of a dirt caught in the nipple.

Try filling your reg/bottle again, happend to me once and it sorted it out.

The o-rings on ND fill nipples go regularily.
Replace it with a CP if you can.

As a quick fix, take teh nipple poff..poke the stem out, take of teh wedge bit, turn teh o-ring round, put back together.

anyone got one spare to tide me over til my new part arrives?
