Okay first thing is first....
Sammy - do me a favour and lay off Joern - at least for his "grammatically incorrect" english - or maybe you would prefer to continue in German - his native language. Without trying to put words in his mouth - I think he meant "supposedly" instead of "eventually". Peace dude not every one can speak the "Queen's English"
2nd - there is a fine line between where our responsibilty stops and the polices begins. In my opinion if something is done off the fields but still at an official event function (i.e. players party) then we are obligated to look at it. If it was unprovoked then things will be done to handle it. As far as off the site... well I personally believe that as long as the front page of the newspaper isn't "Paintball player goes wild...." then it is up to the local authorities. But if anything is done to compromise the game, the series and/or the event then I feel we must step in.
Last but not least... Lasoya. There where numerous posts here regarding Chris & Toulouse.
Let's look at them:
1) he played dirty,
2) he supposedly made some dumb statements about hurting/bonusballing the other team (I say supposedly not because I don't believe the person who heard it, but what is said in the "heat of battle" and is also uncorroborated can't be a reason to comdem someone - we all say sh!t every now and then, it's a matter of acting on it).
3) he made a spectacle of himself at the awards ceremony.
now my responses...
1) this should have been taken care of during/right after the game.
2) same as above especially if he did use excess amount of paint during the process of making an elimination (nice legalese way to say to say BONUSBALLLING)
3) in the current MS rules there is nothing that deals with making a jackass out of yourself in front of a lot of people. The player misconduct section is too loose when it comes to this kinda stuff.
The purpose of the DC is to deal with the actions that are either detrimental to the sport or way out of line with what is written in the rules. Playing policeman and keeping check on every little thing is not our job - that is what the rules and the Millennium staff at each event are for, and many of the infractions should be handled on site - not after.

P.S. I know that before the tournament players/teams where warned about swearing - that it would result in penalties. Maybe for every time Lasoya said "eat a d!ck" Miaimi effect should have lost 50 points - that would have put them in last place based on the number of times he said it. Either that or the organizers should have cut the microphone after the first one.
