Hey p8ntballers!

As a member of the Millennium Series Disciplinary Committee I would like to ask for personal statements regarding the incident on and after the players party. Please write your view of the story as long you have SEEN something.

Feel free to write a p-mail, so that we can sort this stuff out real soon.

Thanks a lot.

I would like everybody to "shut up" for some days, otherwise our investigation might be not as unbiased as it should be. Well, not that we are biased, but the people who tell their sides may tell something they just heard and havent seen by themselves..

As far as I know there was a major unsportsmanlike conduct going on .. a freaking major one...

thanks

I'd be willing to bet you haven't and won't get any witness reports, other than MAYBE an anonymous one or two. I know from experience it just doesn't work that way.

Just out of interest

Surely the commitee has **** all to do with anything that goes on away from the site/event - it's a police matter, no?
In my opinion the tournament starts with the day walking the fields and ends with the day of the last tournament event (here: players party). Even the incident took place outside the players party place and was just after the players party was over it is close enough to the tournament. Our aim is to "force" people to behave in a manner which does not bring harm to the series and especially our sport itswelf. So it makes imho no difference if I misbehave (like shockwave (eventually) trashed their
hotelrooms last year ) during or directly after an event. It does the same to our sport.

Right now I have no real clue of what was going on. And its not only me who decides IF we start do do something or not. But BEFORE we even think of decisions we have to know the case - and right now we dont really now that one..

I will get statements of both parties (today) but as usual, they both will live in their own realities and I like to find out what the truth really is about.

Thats not too bad, isnt it?

regards
joern

I think it is good that you try to follow up on this Jörn. But I doubt, like I said before, that you'll get anywhere with it.

Last year I got a drink in my face without warning because a player didn't like a call I made, and that was at the players' party. I won't say any more than that because a couple of days later the person called and apologized and now we are friends again. If there ever was a time a player should have had at least a warning it was then (because judges, no matter how good or bad MUST NEVER be allowed to be intimidated). But, no one would submit any witness reports. Not even a good friend who was sitting next to me and got the drink on him too.

Peepz just ain't gonna be a tattle-tale.

I'm just asking oern, you know moi...:p

Though I think you'd be on some shaky legal ground if a team was banned from tha Mill. Series cos of events outside a club and decided to challenge that ban...

Anyways, it's all speculation right now isn't it...has the injured party made a complaint/pressed charges?

We are still investigating .. nothing more to say right now. I wont speculate on these issues. If we have some real facts we will come out with what we think is appropriate..
But until then we just listen carefully. :)
