Mr Loco - I think the fact that the 25 min clock was constantly running down (e.g. the two minute breaks between each point where coming out of it) also led to less points per game and therefore less paint.

Also there was a whopping great 'X' in the centre of the field this time (don't think it was there last time) which cut out a lot of 'sit behind a bunker and fire' lanes and made for more 'mobile bunker' style play.

At the first Fight Club/Xball event last year we shot about 16 cases in one game compared to about 8 this time out.

Was a great day though.

I agree that xball might be dull if there are crap teams playing the format. But get two top teams playing Xball and you are gonna get a wicked match. I watched Lasoyas guys play Oakland in San Francisco and it was awesome.

Then comparing that to watching Dynasty play XSV in every NPPL final for the last two seasons is boring as hell. Long drawn out games with little movement. The same two teams playing Xball is far from dull!!!!!

FB vs Manc union

We got drilled 15-0 because we didnt get the format, most of us had never played x-ball b4 and as such we played the wrong game totally

hanging back is Not the order of the day at fight club, you have to take the fight to the other team hard and fast (we learned)

Apologies to the manc lads if we made it too easy for you

I had a great day, fantastic ball was played, lots of screaming and cheering. Fast action games, lots of good marshalling (1-4-1 rule was used quite a lot with us Hustlers ).
Big thanks to all the teams that played and that we played against. Look forward to playing against you all again soon
