Dead man's walk: Odd part of the game that you shouldn't fall for, or trick that gets dead players needlessly shot that should be banned?

Bonus balling - is it a deliberate assault on undeserving players?
Should it be punished for the good of the game and to protect players that will be dissuaded from further participation because mindless idiots think its cool to give 'extra love'?
Is it just another way that the players are destroying all hopes for industry growth by making paintball unattractive while simultaniously bleeding it dry from the inside?
Anyone want to take that on?
