So I've watched the first two NPPL shows, the best televised production of paintball ever made from possibly the most boring paintball ever.

If XBall is the "better format for television", is the difference enough to matter?

I'd say yes in the long run. It might not prove critical to whether it can be televised, but all else being equal (production quality for a start) it would eventually have a big impact on how successful the show would be. So no I don't think it likely to make a huge difference as to whether it gets onto TV or not, just whether it stays small time or has any success.

I would take the stance that Xball has actually turned out to NOT be the best format for television. I am only saying that from the experience of talking to the people that are filming, editing and producing the shows, so I am sure some kid who plays paintball at the weekend and loves watching Xball because it's 'agg' will have a much better take on things.....

Your free and easy disregard of the Fight Club rules is come to an end.
Bennor and Brightley may not post in another Fight Club thread, period, without prior permission.
The rest of you who posted, primarily off topic even, in this thread may not participate in any Fight Club activity for one month. (Yes, I know, that's a terrible hardship  .) I really ought'a ban the lot of you but this whole effort was so pathetic it hardly qualifies as Fight Club--and I'm tired, busy and don't really care.
