Do away with flags ...
Yeah - flags are what is a part of the "original" format of the game - as the game fields have evolved (from bush to bunker to hyperball to airball) the game format has not evolved with it.
Perhaps it is time for flags to be a thing of the past - and find something new and more exciting. I have to agree though, if we are going to retain flags, then by moving to centre flag it does make the flag worth something....
As to alternative formats - buzzers are a good idea (and would rewards fast speedy teams - stack one tape and just go !!), but the format of points would need some work.
USPL format is another way - but I've heard accounts (none first hand I'll grant you) that it is a very paint hungry format.
What other ideas do people have (seriously) for a change in format that would be:
(a) spectator friendly
(b) easy to explain to a non-paintballer, and
(c) don't need more paint than currently used to play (even less paint usage would be good)
