In most team sports, people emotions boil over sometimes, look at Sunday league football! It happens at all levels of sport, pro down to the grass roots, and it's not because of people copying those they see at the top level.
I don't condone this sort of action, but it will never go away. As long as it's not glamourised, we are doing the right thing by it.
