Great stuff! Exactly the info I was after, thanks guys. No worries Fish; if you're wanting to put an order in lemme know which colours and i'll get it all in one go then forward yours on.

I'm thinking of sticking cocktail sticks through the holes I'm working on, or get a wadge of blu-tak, flatten it, stick it through and just paint over it like you would masking tape.

Is there anything needed to seal or finish with teh polycarb paints or does it just bind straight on?

Hopefully I'll be making stencils of the designs, liquid masking them and painting the base all in one go, 10 thin layers should do. Spray the pods separately and then mask over the base so i can get to the other bits.

Colour-wise i'm leaning towards pink
base with shocking pink
pods, frames and some accents. Although silver/gold is looking quite appealing, I'll post up some pics if it turns out ok!

Thanks again! Oh and Raffles, spot on with the lenses mate, ta muchly :D

Aye, I had a look, that's where I got the idea from but the instructions are either unclear or mention specific brands (eg. this Krylon stuff) that you can't seem to get a hold of here, without telling you what the product is (now I know it's polycarb paint)

Looks like I'm going to be putting an order in with fusionhobbies (link above) so if anyone wants anything PM me and we'll sort it out from there.

Cheers again,
