Gah, never, ever, ever, say the word "kill" when talking to a reporter about paintball. NEVER.

I think that people can seperate the "kill" eliminate-an-opponent-in-a-game kinda kill from the "kill" I-am-out-of-touch-with-reality kinda kill. Those who can't aren't going to be won over by our careful semantics and sunny attitudes.
It's not really about winning over. A casual reader's brain is going to read "kill" the way it was used in that article and process the article like they're reading about combat as opposed to a sport.

Which is why you never hear NBA or NFL players talk about going to war or killing the opposition or getting ready by loading up on bullets, guns and tanks.
I disagree,
I like it when people use the world Kill. And say things like, "I blew his xxxxing head off", or, "I killed you, I shot you in the face", or "stop your e-talk or I'll take your head off your shoulders, fat boy!"
I dunno, I just think its cool, and hard, and by hard, I mean totally sweet!
