Feedback wanted - uk masters venue

I bunkered one guy, shot him twice and they both bounced.

Had to put another few on him then, which all broke.

We were using the mid grade fuego, which was pretty brittle, it was just luck and the fact that we were running at 270 that meant this guy got a few more bruises than he needed to...

Iain,
I play front, so I could hit people and have it break at 100fps, doesnt mean its a good idea...

Thought it was a great site mate, camping wise it was spot on as well. Other than comments already made, bigger tables or even just putting two tables together its pretty much spot on. There was one minor thing tho and that was the whole that was on field 3 far end from the staging area. Could be a nasty ankle breaker but a bit a sand will sort that.

Top site tho and excellent venue enjoyed it loads.

agreed john, but on the same note the Euro Indoor has been using 270fps for years and not a complaint... yet.

i have done run throughs shooting 300fps and seen them bounce. it happens.

you say you were shooting mid range paint, if you had shot the top grade would you still have had the same problem?

some of the paint i saw in peoples hoppers coming onto my field was of really poor quality (i'm not going to name any brands). i was also involved in a conversation where a player was accusing a supplier of having such hard paint that he had a tooth knocked out at 270 fps, 300 would have been worse for him.

That is true...
It has always worked well at the euro indoor.

Also I dont really object to having to shoot people a few more times on a mug.

It was probably the fact that alot of people hadnt been warned about the reduced velocity until the day itself, which created chaos at the chrono area before the games.
I always setup and chrono my gun before the day of the tourney...

Our paint was concistently breaking on bunkers (sorry refs, I know you have to clean those things), so I dont think it was too tough...
I did get goggled in one game and it bounced... now that is some tough paint!!!

Lovely site. Great for camping, fields nice and close to camping areas, made it easy to set-up our own staging gazebo :)

Loos weren't too much of a problem, just nipped behind the silage tank every now and then if they were full. (well, that's what it's for, right? ;) )

Couldn't really fault the site at all, would happily play there again.

My first ever tournament, and i was thinking how nice it and well set up it was, only complaint was that there were only 3 toilets, however i usually got one when i needed it.

So all thumbs up from me, see u all soon!

Great site m8, loved it! Cant complain about anything personaly. Lookin forward to the next time i play there!

On the hard aint issue I can tell u from painful experience (bein carried off the field) that there was something seriously wrong with some of the paint. Ive beein lit up from much closer b4 and its nothin compared to sunday. Think some suppliers need to get their heads together about their quality of paint!

Great site m8, playing surface was good, general layout of the site was good. Just as everyone else has said you could do with a few more toilets, and for your own ease maybe replace the wire that held up the higher level of netting with something a bit more robust so you dont have to work on it all day. The team much appreciated the efforts you put into making this a great site to play.
