Hello Everyone,
Just wanted to says thanks to all the teams that turned up for the UK masters at Combat Zone - Lincoln.
As the site own (or the mad man running around with the big set of ladders), this was the first time we had run a tournament and I wanted to get some feedback of what you thought (good or bad)about the site. This will help me improve it for next time.

Many thanks

My own world
Thought the venue was excellent myself.

Few improvements I would suggest, this is just a wish list for the perfect site, because as I said it was very good anyway.

1. Wrexham style grass i.e cricket pitch
2. Proper toilets etc. (think this is already in hand though!)
3. Proper team bays sort of like campaign last year
4. Larger permanent chrono area
5. Seating area

These aren't niggles by the way, just things for the perfect site. Really did think it was one of the best I've been to, good work.

Had a really good day guesting for Full On. Excellent tournie, only complaint would be bigger tables for the teams and maybe some lights (or better lights) in the team staging area. Otherwise a superb event. Fields were set up very well, marshalling was very good, grass was good, trophy was heavy :)

Made me laugh when I saw the burger lady drinking Strongbow at 12 midday lol!

The venue was superb, marshalling was excellent...

Im not sure if this is the right place to post about this but what was the score with lowering the chrono limit??

It cant have been for safety as everyone knows at 270fps the balls are less likely to break so they impact with more energy and hurt more.

Also It also clearly delayed the whole day as everyone had to spend time adjusting their guns before the first games...

it was a pull back to basics& time consuming with the crono but the fuego paint we used broke nice on impact& as for the site its the best site by far & just as good as uttoxetter, but the site was gr8 & the fields were gr8 & on there way 2 being tiptop surface ,still the grass gr8& u could do with more bogz as jc mentioned.but seriously! ,definatley playin that site again.thnx m8y& keep the grass well mowed;) :D  :)

the reason for lowering the FPS was due to the shorter fields as far as i'm aware and you could easily have shot the length of those fields at 230 fps and still had breaks.

the games would have been delayed anyway due to an accident on one of the routes causing some teams & marshalls to be late.

gotta say big up to the girls, did a top job as usual

:)

EDIT: good site, easy to find, nice playing surface, needs more toilets ;)

Sorry for going off topic but why should shorter field mean lower fps? When someone gets bunkered from a metre it still going at 300fps so can't be a safety issue.

Missed this weekend but from the sounds of it was really good venue and great fun and I'm really looking forward to Leg 8 when I get to see it for myself.
