Superb Day, nice to see all of rich's and ours (set up crew) hard work payed off
Played some good games in the morning in the 5man, and then had an immense time in the Race to 2.
Great day and well played to all teams, smoking aces seemed to be our rivals all day with a close 5man game and then even closer in race to 2 with a sudden death game!!!

the entrance to the fields need sorting out, you can actually shoot over the fence and into the public
the refs need to be more on the chrono before game, did not get chronoed once xx
apart from that really good good teams good atmosphere from all teams
i heared there was a lot of waiting around between games due to some no shoes half an hour is nothing compared to back in the 7-man days sometimes had to wait for an hour and a half but that was normal

best thing i saw all day was the faces of the guys and gals of the birmingham uni team,when they beat us .that was their first ever win and you would have thought it was the world cup they had just won
this is what paintball is about and if we can keep this at every event, then rich your on to a winner:first:
We were somewhat astounded that we won! XD
Thanks as ever from the Clan. Refs were spot on all day, and appeared to be very fair with the calls they made and penaltys they gave! Refs on the JT field in the afternoon in the race to 2 seemed especially active with the calls and checks.
Only real critism was some of the waits between games, but as said above this all ran to schedule. Just preffered it when each div played the same filed as per some of the previous rounds, appreciate this isnt possible when you have 4 divs and 3 fields? Maybe this will change when the venue changes to Rodbaston.
The fields, refs, layout, and food (first event I've ate at) were all spot on though. Buy above all that the atmosphere and enjoyment is above any event I've personally ever played in my 10 or so years balling

I assume you were the guy who tried to stop Frank (after he ran out of paint and your gun was down) from hitting the buzzer by throwing a handful of paintballs at him in the race to 2?Great Day, great events Rich - I even had the pleasure of shooting (and then throwing!) paintballs at the end of the day with the Aces, thanks alot guys
I was the ref who had to check Frank after he got the buzzer and I honestly still dont know if any of the paintballs broke (he was covered in bunker rub) or if throwing paintballs at a player counts (i assume it does) lol.
