The thing people seem to forget. Is these Pro's have alot to loose in the way of Sponsorship, They are there to win. They need high quality refs. The attitude doesn't help, but it isn't the problem.
But when the masters and nspl etc teams see "PRO" teams shouting at refs they think this is fine and normal and they then do it.
and i am not saying all pro teams that play these events argue and shout at refs. Most dont ! and if they doit isnt often its just a point im makig to show that attitude can be a problem in the long run.

i have to say that i personally had a great weekend. we had a bad day on sat and didnt win many games, but had a few beers and a laugh on sat night. got up and won a few games on sunday but didnt make the top 8.

while we were playing in div 2 i didnt see any bad calls, and i think there was a great bunch of guys reffing on that field. the ref's on div 2's field were up for a laugh and after every game we had they were asking if we were having a good time. so i have to say cheers to the refs on our field.

i have to admit that i wouldnt be able to stand all day getting shot for basically nothing.

2) what I've highlighted in bold.. That's why you DONT use a shield.

Did you call that player neutral? if not then you have just interfered with the game play, and protected a live player from a shot that could well of eliminated him.
Did you read the rest? i wasn't exact with my example due to me feeling like a scapegoat. What did the rest say? oh yeah, something about letting a player out instead of him being overshot? yes, i think it did. If you're going to dissect my post do the lot.

I've only seen a few teams in the Mill's from SPL and CPL loose there temper. Thats over 6 years. The reffing is constantly high. I understand they have to have a "pro" attitude. But lets look at football for a minute. There are decisions that are over turned from the ref's on the day of the match by the FA. Every one has reffed in paintball, at some point in there career. The point being you were ment to have the best in the UK, (Tigers and Nexus not being there, the cream of UK ball) So you would think for the calibure of this event you would have the best ref's.

UK paintball is on the up. The Masters is amazing and so is the NSPL. You want more series? Why? This will only devide UK paintball further.

Look at Nexus. The team to beat. Best in Europe in my opion. Disruption, Winning the Millenium Shield, and Tigers coming 2nd.

Remmber guys paintball is 98% internet smack talk, and 2% playing.
I have been trawling the internet to locate a word that best describes this post ... it eludes me but I will find it, suffice it to say, randy t's effort is one of the most ignorant and ill-informed I have ever read.
I just can't believe it came from anybody over the age of 9, I really can't

Pete, I think if you look again it says "Genius".

Also Please bare in mind that I'm blind. So proof reading is a little bit harder for me.

and here lies the problem we,ve turned this thread into a ref bashing session.
when it should be about the whole event and how good or bad it was.
hope the feds don,t read some of this crap and keep going for the ballers that appreciate what they are doing
